Charles Stross blogs a very baffling transcript from a meeting of the House of Lords a few days ago. I think the most boggle-worthy part is how the speaking lord admits, with apparent pride, to having laundered more then 1 billion pounds for terrorist organizations. That alone points to door no.2, IMO. But still o_O
