hagar_972 gave me T. I decided that "The" doesn't count because otherwise i would need something like 15 songs.
1.They Spoke with Their Hands-Echo's Children- Beautiful, and sad beyond words, and tells exactly how a telepath in a world of non-telepaths probably feels. Also show why the old saying about the one eyed in the land of the blind is at best inaccurate.
2.The Tower- Vienna Teng- been there, done that, got several dozen t-shirts. Got many friends who're like that as well and have gone through this. Also, I love that melody.
3.This is not the House that pain built- Dar Williams- Because no, it doesn't fit within the pattern of "The Tower"[/wry]. The reminder that sometimes when you decide to be alone it isn't because you're hiding but because it's what you need. Also, I have several people that I would give this to as the people that the song is about.
4.Taxi- Harry Chapin- because we don't always end where we aimed, and not everyone is happy about this. And sometimes we make mistakes along the way, and we can't always make them right.
5.Tanglewood Tree- Dave Carter- because you know, love isn't just the puppies and flowers, it's also the hard times, and the times you snap at each other and a lot more. A character on the Freakangels webcomic summed it up rather well when it told another character "Sometimes we don't like you very much. But we do love you".
